This is a beautiful piece of vintage cotton Ikat weave fabric from the Baule tribe of the Ivory Coast. Hand woven and dyed, this is traditionally worn as a wrap garment, but, could also be used to dress a table, hung as wall art, used as a throw or to sew into pillows. Composed of several strips that have been sewn together.
As with many vintage grain pieces, this may have imperfections such as repaired tears, fraying, and other signs of age. This is part of what makes it a lovely and unique piece!
